PEI Grand Tour

November 19, 2016

Your private tour begins with a brief History and Stats on Prince Edward Island and a Map to follow along.

First we tour through the scenic green rolling hills of PEI to the fishing Village of North Rustico (our itinerary will be influenced from our starting point). Along the way, we will view oyster and mussel farming . We stop to view the lobster fishing fleet at picturesque  Rustico Harbour. As we arrive at the Rustico Harbour entrance, we will see the sandy beach and take the opportunity to see the Rotating House.

Then we proceed through the National Park and view  the Jagged Red Cliffs and a stop for a beach walk and photos.

Now we proceed for a stop to view the world famous Cavendish beach. While in Cavendish, we will visit the National Historical sight, Green Gables; made famous by the novel written in 1908 by Islander, Lucy Maud Montgomery.

NEXT we have a scenic drive towards Summerside. On the way, we will see where more than 60,000 acres of World Famous PEI Potatoes become French Fries.

The following options are available to visit in the Western part of the Island:

  • College of Piping in Summerside

  • International Fox Museum

  • Acadian Village

  • Canadian Potato Museum (Great potato fudge!)

  • Quilt Gallery (hand made by islanders)

  • Stompin’ Tom Center

  • West Point Lighthouse Museum

  • North Cape Wind Test Center

  • Bideford parsonage

  • Shellfish Museum

  • Shipbuilding Museum

  • Alpaca farm

Next we proceed to the Confederation Bridge, Historic Victoria by the Sea and the beautiful drive along the south shore. Touching on historic points in Charlottetown, stops and itinerary will be flexible, determined by your interests.

Remember to taste our Pei Potato Fudge from the Canadian Potato Museum and our World famous Pei Malpeque Oysters.

With so much to see and do on this little island, the choices are endless.

Our Mission is to exceed your expectations!
